Mount Morris - Bridgett Buchanan

Bridgett Buchanan was a 3-sport athlete from the Class of 2008 who played soccer, basketball, and track & field.  She was a leading player on all three teams.  On the soccer field, she led our team in goals and was named an LCAA All-Star in 2007.  She was also named to the exceptional senior game that year.  On the basketball court, she was a co-captain and was also named an LCAA All-Star on our 2007-08 team.  During her 2 ½ years on our varsity basketball team, she was the team’s point guard, and versatile leader who averaged 12 points, 4 assists, and 4 steals per game.  One of her top basketball games included having 10 steals as a junior in 2006.  Her talents and hard work also led her to be named to the exceptional senior game in basketball.  Her athletic career did not stop after high school.  She went on to do what not many people have done.  She played 2 sports in college playing both soccer and basketball at FLCC and GCC.  While at FLCC, she played on the 2008 soccer team that finished 19-1-1 and made it to the regional finals.  In her career, she also works in athletics with Founder Sport Group who has worked to design uniforms for some of the top athletes in the country including Steph Curry, Dwayne the Rock Johnson, Notre Dame football, and for the Little League World Series.
