Mount Morris - Lawrence Falsone

Nicole Pike (Walsh) was an extremely strong 3-sport athlete in soccer, basketball, and track & field from the Class of 1999 and was team captain of all 3 sports.  As a 4-year varsity soccer player, she was named a Livingston County All-Star in both 1997 and 1998, was named team MVP and was also an exceptional senior selection in 1998.  She scored 20 goals over her soccer career which was a school record at that time and currently ranks 3rd all-time for most career goals.  Overall, she tallied 45 career points in soccer which also was a school record and currently ranks 4th all-time in school history.  In her nature of going above and beyond, Nicole was one of 7 students from the Rochester area who traveled to Europe to play soccer over a 10-day period in high school and she did this for 2 consecutive summers.  On the basketball court, she was pulled up to varsity during her freshman year and became one of the most dominate players in the league during her career.  She was named team MVP in her junior year in 1998, and helped build our girls basketball team into a competitive force in the league.  In her senior season in 1998-99, she helped lead the team to 12 wins which was the highest number of wins in one season for a girls basketball team in our school history at that time and that stood until the 2012-13 season.  In track & field, Nicole was a 6-year varsity competitor and a leading member of our team that won the Livingston County title twice and the Section V Class D title 3 times in 1995, 1997, and 1999.  Individually, her most successful event was the pentathlon.  She finished 3rd in the Section V finals in that event as a sophomore.  As a junior, she won the Section V Class D title in the pentathlon with a score of 1,947 which broke our school record at that time.  She capped off her career in her senior year by winning the Section V title in the pentathlon for the 2nd consecutive year with a score of 2,028.  That score broke her own school record and is currently 2nd highest all-time.  After high school, she went on to play JV soccer at Niagara University where she was named the team MVP in her senior year.  With all her accolades, she was always the ultimate teammate who gave 100% to the team and would do whatever it took for the team to win a game.
