Mount Morris - Sarah E. Schultz

Sarah E. Schultz was an outstanding 3-sport athlete in soccer, basketball, and track & field from the Class of 2007. Anyone who knows this inductee is aware of her incredible work ethic who could always be found in the gym trying to improve herself. That hard work certainly paid off. In soccer, she was one of the top goalies in the county leading in saves and save percentage. Her accolades in soccer also include being named MVP of the team in 2005, as well as an LCAA Division III All-Star and exceptional senior in 2006. In basketball, again she was one of the top players in this area. During her senior year, she was one of the leading scorers in the league at 16 points per game. During this season she had both a 31 and 30 point game which are two of the highest point totals in school history. Only 2 other females have scored over 30 points in one game for Mt. Morris. She capped off her senior year being named an LCAA All-star, exceptional senior, and Livingston County News Super 18 selection. Her total of 707 career points is still one of the top totals in school history. In both soccer and basketball, she was named player of the week multiple times by the Livingston County News, Birdseye, and the Democrat & Chronicle. After high school, she went on to participate in both basketball and cross country at University of Pittsburgh at Bradford where she recorded some of the top running times in their school history.
