Will my child be able to go to school in September? Hopefully. There are a number of factors that will influence that answer. First, Governor Cuomo has indicated that during the first week of August, he will decide if in-person instruction will be allowed. Based on the current guidance, and conditions we are planning to reopen in September PK-12. However, the guidance and / or conditions may change forcing us to implement a different model. Due to the extra training that will be required for our staff, we are planning on adding two more conference days to the beginning of the school year and shifting the first day for students to Thursday, September, 10th. If circumstances dictate that we need to reduce the capacity of the building and/or buses, we will prioritize in-person instruction for our elementary students.
