This has been an exciting year for our MasterMinds program, as we proudly had both a Varsity and JV team competing.

Our Varsity MasterMinds team is advancing to the playoffs and is currently placed third in the league and our JV team is also having a strong season and sits in second place.

Led by senior captain, Robbie Lonsberry, the Varsity team has seen great success this season. Robbie has earned the second highest point total among all varsity players in the league, a testament to his knowledge, consistency, and leadership. Coach Steffenilla shared that Robbie “sets the tone for the team by leading with encouragement, collaboration, and a true team first mindset.”

On the JV side, eighth grade captain, Forest Hull, leads with confidence, decisiveness, and outstanding sportsmanship, while seventh grader, Sam Lonsberry, has made a strong impact, contributing significantly to the team’s success.

“The future is bright for our program, with talented underclassmen already stepping up and ready to lead in the seasons ahead. We are incredibly proud of both teams and are excited to see what they accomplish next,” said Coach Steffenilla.

We would like to wish the Varsity team the best of luck as they advance to the playoffs on Monday, April 27th, at Wheatland-Chili. This is a true reflection of their hard work, dedication, and teamwork.
