The Mount Morris cross country teams were back in action at Genesee County Park, competing against Attica, Alexander and LeRoy/Cal-Mum! 🏃♀️🏃♂️ Peyton Smith had a strong showing for the modified girls, placing 1st among the modified girls and 2nd overall in the modified race. Elissa Sturm was our top varsity scorer, finishing 7th. Great work, Blue Devils! 💙🤍 The teams will compete next Tuesday at home! 🏃♀️🏃♂️

Senior year is underway for the Class of 2027!
Mount Morris picked up a 9-2 victory over Letchworth, with several firsts along the way. Alivia Piraino scored her first career varsity goal in the opening minute, followed by Kennedy Canary’s first varsity goal just five minutes later. Canary went on to record a hat trick, while Addyson Barnhardt also scored three goals, including a great direct kick from about 25 yards out. Olivia Kaiser added a goal as well.
Piraino finished with two goals, Canary with three goals and an assist, and Barnhardt with three goals. Brooklyn Coniglio and Lillian Mallaber each recorded an assist, while Addison DiPasquale made 11 saves in goal.
Coach James said the team “came out tonight ready to play” and that they are starting to put together everything they have been working on. He also praised the team’s unselfish play and their ability to control the middle of the field.
The Blue Devils will look to keep the momentum going as they prepare for their home opener on Saturday! 💙🤍

Congratulations to our Mount Morris student-athletes, Brooklyn Coniglio and Addison DiPasquale, on being recognized at the Mount Morris-Lima Christian softball awards ceremony! Brooklyn earned the Rookie of the Year Award and was named a First Team All-Star in the Private Parochial League after an outstanding season in the circle. She recorded 92 strikeouts and threw two no-hitters. Addison was also selected as a First Team All-Star in the Private Parochial League. As the team's catcher, she was a leader behind the plate and made a tremendous impact offensively throughout the season. Together, this pitcher-catcher duo was instrumental in the team's success throughout the season. We are proud of Brooklyn and Addison for their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments.
🎳✍️ Congratulations to senior Dominic LaPiana III on signing his letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Mercyhurst University! Dominic will join the Lakers bowling program while pursuing a degree in Biology. Representatives from Mercyhurst, including the captain of the bowling team, visited Mount Morris to celebrate this exciting milestone as Dominic officially committed to the next chapter of his journey. A member of the Class of 2026 Top Ten, Dominic has been an active participant in athletics and extracurricular activities throughout his high school career. His dedication in the classroom, on the lanes, and in our school community has helped prepare him for success at the collegiate level. Mercyhurst's growing bowling program began men's competition in 2024-25 and continues to provide student-athletes with opportunities to compete while pursuing their academic goals.
We are proud of Dominic and can't wait to see all he accomplishes as a Laker. 💙🤍
⚾️ On Friday, members of our Modified, JV, and Varsity Baseball teams made their annual trip to Batavia to cheer on the Batavia Muckdogs! This special outing has become an end-of-season tradition for our baseball program over the past four years. Before the game, our Blue Devils had the opportunity to play catch on the field with Muckdogs players and were even invited onto the field during the National Anthem. We are grateful to the Muckdogs organization for welcoming our players each season and helping create lasting memories for our student-athletes. We look forward to continuing this tradition again next year. Go Dogs! 💙⚾️🤍
