One year ago today, our very own Emily Mike took stage for the National Spelling Bee, placing 51st of 11 million participants! An eighth grader at the time, Emily spelled “cuisinier” correctly during the second round, and during the third round she correctly spelled “bloodcurdling.” We will always be proud!
