🚀🥚 Our 6th grade classes took on the Egg Drop Challenge! 🏗️💡 Each team designed and built a contraption to protect their egg from a high drop—testing their creativity, engineering skills, and understanding of gravity. 🌍✨ It was an egg-citing way to learn through hands-on experimentation! 🥳🎉

Spreading Kindness: Third and Fifth Graders Complete Kindness Challenge.
For the third year in a row, our third and fifth grade classes participated in a heartwarming activity as part of Kindness Week by reading Kindness is Cooler, Mrs. Ruler. In the book, a class works together to complete and record 100 acts of kindness in their school, community, and homes. Inspired by the story, our students took on the same challenge— and they exceeded expectations!
Each act of kindness was written on a paper heart, and by the end of the activity, our students had recorded an incredible 113 acts of kindness! We will proudly display these paper hearts in the hallway as a reminder of the power of kindness and the impact small gestures can have on others.
The students enjoyed the activity so much that we added another fun project— making “love bugs” together. With such enthusiasm for spreading kindness, it looks like we’ll need to add those to the wall, too!
This annual tradition continues to be a meaningful way for students to practice empathy, generosity, and positivity. Thank you to our teachers and students for making Kindness Week extra special!

We want to update families that we are proceeding with our two-hour delay today (2/6/2025). Bus pickup and the start of school will occur on a 2-hr delay.
Due to the forecasted weather conditions for the morning, there will be a 2-hour delay for school tomorrow (2/6/2025). We will reassess the weather conditions in the morning to see if we need to close school for the day or if we will simply proceed with the 2-hour delay. We will let you know tomorrow morning either way.

Jared’s message of positive character-building was not only fun but also meaningful, helping our students learn about being the best versions of themselves.
