Our fall play, “Appropriate Audience Behavior”, will be presented on Friday, November 18th and Saturday, November 19th; showtime is 7:00 pm for both days. This show is a comedy that places the spotlight on the audience, quickly reminding everyone that the drama belongs on stage! Congratulations to Coach Joe Connolly who was named this year's Section V class D2 Coach of the Year! Coach Connolly coached this year's Varsity Boys Soccer team to a Sectional title winning class D2 to capture his third sectional title overall (2014 D2, 2017 D1). This year's team was also the LCAA Division III champions as well as the #1 seed in Section V Class D2.
Congratulations to our Athlete of the Week, Aidan Stanley! “Aidan was a huge contributor to the boys winning the D2 Sectional Championship. Aidan had shutouts in all three sectional games. He posted 7 shutouts on the season and showed immense improvement throughout the year. Aidan had an amazing year and we look forward to having him back next year!”, said Coach Connolly.
We will be accepting non-perishable food donations for our annual Thanksgiving Dinner Program through this Thursday, November 10th. This program provides eligible families of the Mount Morris Central School District groceries for Thanksgiving dinner. There are donation boxes set up around the school for student and staff donations and community members may drop off donations in our Visitor Entrance. Items most needed are: gravy, instant mashed potatoes, stuffing, canned fruits, canned vegetables, cranberry sauce and instant pudding. If you have questions about the program, please reach out to your child(ren)’s teacher. Thank you for your support!
Join us for the LCAA Exceptional Senior Soccer games this Saturday, November 5th at Caledonia-Mumford High School beginning at 12:00 pm for the girls and 1:30 pm for the boys! Participating from MMCSD in the girls’ game is Anna Lin and for the boys’ game Ben Bacon, Payton Bownds and Navier Ford. There is a $5.00 admission fee to get into the Exceptional Senior game. On Sunday, November 6th Jack Lonsberry will compete in the Section V Exceptional Senior all-star contest at McQuaid High School at 12:00 pm! We would also like to give a big shout out to our LCAA Division III All Stars: Ben Bacon, Payton Bownds, Navier Ford, Jack Lonsberry and Chase Young! Payton, Navier, Jack and Chase also made the Section V Class D2 All-tournament team and Jack is an All-State Nominee! Congratulations to Coach Connolly for being named the Section V class D2 Coach of the Year!

The Mount Morris Fire/Rescue Department will be holding their annual Halloween Party on Monday, October 31st! The event will take place outside at 119 Main Street (Old Mount Morris Fire Hall) from 5:00 - 7:00pm. Treat bags will be given to Trick or Treaters by each organization and participating downtown business! This event is sponsored by Mount Morris, Mount Morris Partners for Progress, Mount Morris Rotary Club, Mount Morris Ambulance and the Mount Morris Police Benevolent Association.

Congratulations to our Athlete of the Week, Payton Bownds! Last week Payton scored 3 goals in the boys’ soccer quarter final sectional game. The boys won the game 8-0. Payton is a captain on a very good team and one of the main reasons for their success. His leadership, work ethic and strong play are amazing. Payton has 15 goals and 4 assists on the season,” said Coach Connolly.

The address is 2070 five-mile line road, Penfield NY 14526. There is a red brick school house and the field is located in the back. There is a $6.00 Section V admission fee per person.
