Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Flag Day Ceremony this afternoon where we honored two U.S. Marine Veterans: Roger D Yencer and Charles (Chuck) Anzalone. The student participation in the ceremony was enjoyed by all and Principal Dean delivered a heartfelt message of pride and gratitude.
Our Flag Day Ceremony is taking place today at 1 pm and we welcome the community to join us for this special event! PreK-6 Father's Day Event! Fathers, step-fathers, and grandfathers are invited to attend the annual Mount Morris Elementary Donuts with Dad event taking place this Friday, June 14th at 7:30 am in our cafeteria. We will be serving donuts, juice, coffee, and tea. We hope to see you there!
Mount Morris Central School District's 2019 Sports Awards Banquet will be held at the Mount Morris River Hotel on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. The evening will include dinner, athletic highlights, and a team recognition ceremony. The cost is free to all student-athletes and $12.00 per person for all family and friends. Checks can be made out to the Mount Morris Varsity Club.
The Summer Feeding Program will be running July 8th - August 9th, Monday-Friday. MMCSD will serve breakfast from 8:30-9:15 am and lunch from 11:00 am - 12:20 pm. All kids 18 and under eat free, adults over 18 are able to purchase breakfast for $2.50 and lunch for $4.00. The GV BOCES Mount Morris Campus will also be serving breakfast and lunch. Mount Morris Elementary invites fathers, step-fathers, and grandfathers to Donuts with Dad. This special event is an early Father’s Day treat and sweet time spent with your child.
The menu will include donuts, juice, coffee, and tea.

Congratulations to the Mount Morris Varsity Golf Team, coached by Brian Stout, for receiving the NYSPHSAA Team Scholar-Athlete Award this year!! The members of this years Varsity Golf team are: Ethan Provino, Leah Gehrig, Jesse Yorks, Cameron Regal, Justin Martin, Nathan Callaro, Julian Martin, Jordan Davis, and Josh Cautivo. At the end of each sports season, the NYSPHSAA honors those teams and individuals that excel in the classroom. To receive team recognition with a certificate, the team’s average GPA for 75% of the roster must be greater than or equal to 90.00. It is a great honor to receive this special recognition! #MMPRIDE

Reminder: Senior Awards Night is tonight, 6/3/19, at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium. This is a wonderful event for our students to be recognized and awarded for all of their hard work and dedication!
Friendly Reminder and Time Change: The June MMPTSA Meeting is scheduled for tonight, Monday, June 3, 2019, in the library at 5:30 p.m. This is a change from what is printed on the District calendar.
At this meeting, the PTSA will be electing officers for the 2019-2020 school year. Anyone can run for office. You must be a paid PTSA member to vote. The PTSA will be electing a president, vice-president, treasurer and secretary.
Reminder: The Mount Morris Central School District presents Community Swim at no charge. All ages welcome.
Swimming hours will be from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
