Mrs. Thompson’s 5th grade science class explored the concept of surface tension today! Students observed how many drops of colored water could sit on a penny's surface before spilling over, then compared it to soapy colored water. Through the experiment, students discovered how soap disrupts the surface tension, allowing fewer drops to sit on the penny. It was a colorful and hands-on way to see science in action!

Exciting science is happening in Mrs. Clester’s and Mrs. Willey’s 4th grade classes! The students got creative by building marshmallow structures and testing their designs on an earthquake simulator. They're learning all about engineering and how buildings can withstand natural forces. What a fun way to bring science to life!

Congratulations to our Varsity Boys Soccer Athlete of the Week, William Manthey! "Willy scored his first Varsity goal in a 3-1 win over Letchworth-Warsaw last Thursday. He made a shot from outside the 18-yard box, placing it perfectly in the top corner for a marvelous finish. Willy has also stepped up to play solid defense, a position he's not accustomed to, but has taken on for the good of the team. His team-first attitude has been instrumental in making us more competitive and was a key factor in our success on Thursday," said Coach Connolly

Congratulations to our Varsity Girls Soccer Team on their win over Perry, 5-2! “Adriana Mann kicked things off with two goals, both set up beautifully by Shaniese Brown and Addyson Barnhardt. Addyson then made a goal with a header off a great cross from Morgan Luick and continuing her stellar performance by assisting Madalyn Bryant's first career Varsity goal! Addyson finished things off by scoring the final goal off a through ball from Morgan Luick. Shoutout to Maya Kleisley for her outstanding work in goal with 13 saves! The girls are playing their best soccer of the season, possessing the ball well and creating scoring opportunities. They’re looking to carry this momentum into our last regular season game on Friday against Franklinville and then onto sectionals,” said Coach James. Go Blue Devils!
