5/11/18 Varsity Boys' Baseball MM/Perry 8-York 6.
Carson DeVinney went 2-4 with a double and triple and had 3 RBI's . Brian Perez went 2 for 3 with a triple. Blake Wolfanger went 2 for 2 . Tyler Cowie hit a 2 run hr in the 5th inning. Perry/ MM scored 6 runs in the 5th to make the game 7-2. York came back in the top of 6th and scored 4 to make the score 7-6 . In the bottom of the 6th Perry/ MM scored 1 run and made the score 8-6. Carson DeVinney came in and pitched the 7th and got the save as Jansel Martinez GOT THE WIN. #mmpride

Mount Morris Track athletes had success at The Tiger Invitational in Warsaw. Devon Young placed 3rd in the 100m and 200m dash, while the boys 4x1 team consisting of Brandon Flint, Joey Pagano, Colin Brickwood, and Devon Young also placed 3rd. Michael Edwards placed 5th in the Triple Jump while Peyton Martin placed 6th in the JV division for both the Shot put and discus. On the girls side, Sierra Somers placed 4th in the 100m dash and 6th in the 200m dash. Great Job folks! Come out and support our Track athletes 5/11/18 at The Cal-Mum Invitational which starts around 5:00 PM. #mmpride
Date Change: The Scholastic Book Fair will be at MMCSD 5/7/18-5/11/18. This year with cash registers that are WiFi connected to allow parents/guardians to set an amount on their credit card on the Scholastic Book Fair website instead of giving money to their child. #mmpride
The Summer Feeding Program will be running July 9th - August 10th, Monday through Friday. They will serve breakfast from 8:30-9:15 am and lunch from 11:00 am - 12:20 pm. All kids 18 and under eat free, and adults over 18 are able to purchase breakfast for $2.50 and lunch for $4.00.
The GV BOCES Mount Morris Campus will also be serving breakfast and lunch. If you have any questions regarding this program, please call 585-969-0279.
The 2018 MMCSD Alumni Basketball Game had 44 players in total who played in 2 separate games. Over $900 was raised for the Mount Morris Varsity Club/Boys Basketball Program. Mount Morris Alumni from as far back as 1985 participated up to the most recent 2017 graduates. The games were very competitive as the first went down to the wire and the second game was decided by 10 points. Due to the great success of this event, there will be another Alumni Basketball tournament in 2019.
We would like to give a special thanks to Brian Stout, MMCSD Class of 1990 for organizing this great event!
